PUBLIC DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM:

Every month approximately a quantity of 5,939.941 M.Ts of PDS rice has been supplied to 3,25,235 card holders having 9,30,259 units (AFSC-19,829, FSC-3,05,370 & AP-36 Cards) (AFSC-55,962, FSC-8,74,261 & AP-36 units) from (4) Four Mandal level stock point godowns i.e., Suryapet, Thungathurthy, Huzurnagar and Kodad through (610) FP shop dealers in Suryapet district and distribution of PDS Rice @ 6 KG per Unit under March-2025 allotment. But PDS rice is supplying @6 Kg per unit under regular allotment. The State Government from GOI i.e. @6 Kgs per unit was supplied at free of cost.

Sugar was also issuing to the AFSC card holder @ 1 Kg per card per month i.e. approximately 198.25 Qtls under PDS. Before dispatch the PDS rice, the details has been made in the Supply Chain Management software (SCM) and at the time of receipt of the rice the FP shop dealer are also acknowledging in ePoS machine. The PDS rice transportation and distribution was promptly made in the designed Software package in real time basis.

SUPPLY OF SANNA BIYYAM UNDER MID DAY MEAL SCHEME & OTHER WELFARE INSTITUTIONS:

The Government of Telangana has initiated the MDM Scheme to supply good quality food to students with Sanna Biyyam in Government Schools and Hostels since January, 2015. Approximately 133.900 M.Ts of Sanna Biyyam is supplied to 1198 Schools, 158.246 M.Ts to 146 Welfare Hostels & sub- jails, and 137.685 M.Ts of PDS rice to 1209 Anganwadi schools in Suryapet District.
