Electricity Department (TGSPDCL) – Suryapet
Ø Telangana State Government is giving uninterruptable power supply which is not implemented by any state in India .
- 1,54,220 no of agriculture consumers are getting free electricity in Suryapet district.
- 1,79,929 eligible house hold electricity consumers in Suryapet District are getting benefit of up to 200 units through Gruha Jyothi scheme for that Rs. 66.44 Crores subsidy was given from March-2024 to March 2025.
- 3981 free agricultural electricity connections have been sanctioned at a cost of Rs.27.86 Crores.
- 1658 distribution transformers have been set up at a cost of Rs.48.08 Crores.
- 92km 33kv line has been laid at a cost of Rs.2.32 Crores
- 80km 11kv line has been laid at a cost of Rs.18.24 Crores
- 16km LT line has been laid at a cost of Rs.12.08 Crores
- 15325 Intermediate and Damaged poles erected at a cost of 15.04 Crores.
- Electricity connection was given to double bedroom (2BHK) for 2 locations at a cost of 23.00 Lakhs (Demand Notice issued for 33 locations for about 416.00 Lakhs)
- 4 No. of works have been completed for New and interlinking 33KV line at a cost of Rs.3.00 Crores (Summer Action Plan).
- 16 No. of works have been completed for New and interlinking 11KV line at a cost of Rs.1.65 Crores (Summer Action Plan).
- 18 No. of Power Transformers for additional and Enhancement of capacity works have been completed at a cost of Rs.17.10 Crores (Summer Action Plan).
- 305 Distribution transformers for additional and enhancement of DTRs works have been completed at a cost of Rs. 7.32 Crores (Summer Action Plan).
- Construction of new 132/33KV Nuthankal Sub Station is completed.
- Proposal for construction of new 220/33KV Penpahad sub Station has been sent.
- Newly Sanctioned 33/11KV Sub Stations:
- Bakkamanthula Gudem, Mattampally (47 Crores)-33KV and 11KV Line works have been completed.
- Balaji Nagar, Kodad Town (2.34 Crores) – 33KV and 11KV Line works have been completed.
- Mukundapuram, Munagala (2.43 Crores) – work is in Progress.
- Thirumala Nagar, Chivemla (2.53 Crores) -Tender completed.
- Chennaipalem, Mattampally (13 Crores) – Tender process will be held.
- Pillalamarry, Suryapet Rural (58 Crores) – Tender process will be held.
- Newly approved 33/11KV Sub Station details :
- Kondapuram Chilkuru Mandal (43 Crores).
- Kuchipudi Kodad Rural Mandal (30 Crores)
- Yallapuram, Palakeedu Mandal (73 Crores).
- Gummadavelly, Maddirala Mandal (71 Crores)
Due to the natural calamity the loss to the electricity department was Rs. 10.04 Crores ( As per SDRF Regulations) Date 31.08.2024 to 06.09.2024):
- 33 KV Damaged Poles – 103 Nos.
- 11 KV Damaged Poles – 1656 Nos.
- LT KV Damaged Poles – 2702 Nos.
- DTRs Damaged – 414 Nos.
- Lines Damaged – 1915 కి. మీ. లు.
- All villages and towns in Suryapet District have been restored to electricity in a speedy manner.
