- MAINTENANCE OF B.C.HOSTELS: There are (24) Government BC Hostels(Pre-matric and Post-matric) (14 Boys, 10 Girls) functioning in the District. During the academic year, (2520) students were admitted. The boarders of these hostels were provided with free boarding and lodging facilities, besides supply of Note Books, Bedsheet & Carpet, Record Book, Graph Book and (3) pairs School Uniform (3rd to 10 th class). They are also provided Cosmetics, Hair cutting, etc., during the academic year, the Commissioner of BC Welfare, TG, Hyderabad has released the budget for an amount of Rs.345.65 Lakhs and has been Expenditure incurred Rs.300.10 Lakhs.
- MAHATMA JYOTHIBHAPULE OVERSEAS VIDYA NIDHI: This Scheme was introduced to B.C. students studying in out of country providing Rs.20.00 Lakhs each during (2) years course and Visa, Fare Charges. During this year The Commissioner of Backward Classes Welfare has released an amount of Rs.20.00 Lakhs to (2) students in this District for 1st installment for the year 2024-25 .
- POST MATRIC SCHOLARSHIPS(BC&EBC)2024-25:- During this year, an amount of Rs.3594.32 Lakhs released by the Commissioner of Backward Classes Welfare, TG, Hyderabad. An amount of Rs. 2960.30 Lakhs utilized to (14112) students

INTERCASTE MARRIAGE: During this year,an amount of Rs.30,000/- (Thirty thousand rupees only)was released as incentive cash amount to BC bride or bride groom who married with other caste. During this financial year,(3) couples were sanctioned and released @ Rs.10,000/- by the Commissioner,BC Welfare , Telangana , Hyderabad and paid through cheques to the 3 couples@ Rs.10,000/-(Ten Thousand rupees only) to each couple.
KATAMAYYA RAKSHA SAFETY KITS :– The Government launched the “Katamayya Raksha” Safety Kits incorporate advance safety features tailored to the specific needs of rope climbers. Each kit includes six essential devices :(Ropes, Clips, Handles, a single bag and Leg loops). The Managing Director,TGTTFC sanctioned for 1st and 2nd phase (2235) safety kits to Suryapet District and distributed (460) kits to the rope climbers.
