Comprehensive Child Development Scheme:
Comprehensive Child Development Services was started in the state on 2nd October 1975 and now comprehensive child development services are available to almost every village in Suryapet district.
Present Comprehensive Child Development Scheme Projects being implemented in Suryapet District:
Chivvemla – 233 Anganwadi Centres
Thungaturthi – 207 Anganwadi Centres
Huzurnagar – 277 Anganwadi Centres
Kodada – 273 Anganwadi Centres
Suryapet (A) – 219 Anganwadi Centres
Total – 1209 Anganwadi Centre
Beneficiaries who will benefit from this scheme:
- Children under 0-6 years
- Pregnant women
- Infants
- Adolescent girls (aged 11-17 years)
There are 1126 Main Anganwadi Centers and 83 Mini Anganwadi Centers in the district. There are total 1209 Anganwadi centers.
28479 children receiving supplementary nutrition in the district
12795 women receiving supplementary nutrition in the district
16178 children receiving pre-primary education in the district
Through the “Arogya Lakshmi” scheme, all Anganwadi Centers in the district are providing one meal to children aged 3 to 6 years and pregnant women and infants from the month of January, 2015.
*Rs.4,10,05,819/- has been spent in the financial year (2021-2022) in the district through Arogya Lakshmi Scheme.
All Anganwadi Centers provide nutrition as follows:
For pregnant and lactating women
1. Amount per month per boiled egg per day
2. 30 gruds will be given. Anganwadi on working days
3. 150g per woman. Rice, 30 grams of dal,
4. 16 grams of oil is being given(7 months to 3 years)
5. Eggs per day for children Total 16 eggs in a month. It is given to the children at home.
6. Along with this Balamrutham is served.
7. For children 3 to 6 years 1. One boiled egg per day for a total of30
8.Given to infants. Anganwadi 75g on working days. Rice, 15 g. Sandalwood 5 grams of oil, Along with this, kuru kurelu home as snack food will be given.
Through T-SAT, Anganwadi teachers and children in the district will be made aware of pre-primary education.

- From June 2018 to October 2019 in the district under the sponsorship scheme, Rs. Rs.8,6000 was sanctioned to 43 children at the rate of Rs.2000/-. And every month from June-2021 to children of families who died of Covid-19 Rs. Rs.16,000/- was sanctioned to four (4) persons at the rate of Rs.2000/- each.
- Rs.20,000/-, 25,000/- & 50,000/- each for rape victims under Pocso Act (2021-2022) Rs. 89,40,000/- was paid compensation

Details of Funds Allocated for Disabled Persons in Suryapet District (2021-22):-
During the financial year, (28) units were sanctioned under self employment schemes to Suryapet district. For this Rs. 20.50 lakhs was allocated. Beneficiaries were selected through online and approved by Mandal and Municipal authorities on their proposals.
34 retrofitted motorized vehicles,
24 battery powered wheelchairs,
15 4G smart phones,
11 laptops,
56 three wheeler rickshaws,
75 wheelchairs, canes will be provided to Suryapet district as part of the scheme for disabled persons in the financial year 2021-22. -118, their hand sticks-77, hearing aid-55 etc.
Applications for these devices are accepted online at TSOBMMS.CGG.GOV.IN. It is informed that the eligible beneficiaries will be selected and sent as per the instructions of the Hon’ble Director, Hyderabad. For the financial year 2022-23, 70 people have been selected and sent to the Director of Disabled Persons for approval for free training for the unemployed persons with disabilities.
