Roads details and works sanctioned by the Government of Telangana:
The R&B department has a total length of 996.83 Kms of roads in Suryapet District. Out of which, 14.50 Kms are State Highways, 687.63 kms are Major District Roads, 294.70 are Other District Roads.
During the financial year 2024-25, Under MDR PLAN and CRIF scheme, 41 works are sanctioned for an amount of 697.43 Crores for widening and strengthening of various roads for a length of 330.50 kms. 38 works are in progress, remaining 03 works are in tender stage.
In Suryapet District, one Skill Development Centre is sanctioned in Kodad town limits under National Academy of Construction for an amount of Rs. 10.00 Crores. The work is in Tender stage.
In Huzurnagar Constituency, 15 works are sanctioned under ST SDF Scheme for an amount of Rs. 30.37 crores for providing road facilities to Tribal villages. The works are in completion stage.
In Thungathurthy Constituency, 03 works are sanctioned under SC SDF Scheme for an amount of Rs. 18.70 crores. One work is in progress and other 02 works are in tender stage.
Further, 03 Number of R&B Guest Houses in Kodad, Suryapet and Huzurnagar Municipalities have been sanctioned for an amount of Rs. 24.00 Crores. The Works are under Agreement stage. The work will be commenced shortly.
Special works to R&B department, Suryapet Under DMFT Sanction:
Construction of New Tahsildar offices, MPDO Offices and Police Stations in various mandals of Huzurnagar and Kodad Constituencies have been sanctioned Under DMFT Scheme for an amount of Rs. 33.41 Crores. The works are in tender stage.
